Product Abstract: The resin begins as a fragrant sticky milky-white liquid that flows from the trunk of the tree when cut. The dried tears are collected, and the resin is then distilled, producing the precious oil.  It is used as incense, and has been traded for 5,000 years. Widely used in ancient Egypt, it was one of the ingredients used in the holy oil described in the Talmud. The oil is still highly prized today in the perfumery industry, and widely used in the manufacturing of skin-care products like rejuvenating face masks, face oil blends and body lotions.

Product Abstract: Geranium is a hairy perennial shrub, often used in hedgerows, and will stand up to about one meter high (3 feet) with pointed leaves, serrated at the edges and with flowers that range from red to a pinkish white. Geranium plants originated in South Africa, Madagascar, Egypt and Morocco and were introduced to European countries in the 17th century. There are over 200 species of geranium, of which some are scented and some not. The petals are used in gourmet jellies and confections, and the oil is widely used in scented topical applications.

Aromatic Summary: Lavender Bulgarian has a rich floral scent that is somewhat fruitier, mellower, and less camphoraceous than Lavender 40/42, and smells more like fresh lavender.

Description: The Lavender plant is a woody evergreen shrub, up to 1 meter tall, with pale green, narrow linear leaves, and violet-blue flowers. The entire plant is highly aromatic. Lavender has been used since ancient times, and the Romans added lavender to their bath water, hence the name from the Latin lavare, 'to wash'. Lavender was used to "comfort the stomach" it is a reviving yet soothing oil. It is the most versatile essential oil.

Differences in soil, altitude, and temperature, precipitation, and seasons contribute to subtle changes in the scent from one lot of Lavender to another.

For external use only, do not ingest. Dilute your essential oils in a carrier oil, cream or Epsom salts. Do not apply neat on the skin as it can cause irritations.

Product Abstract: Patchouli is a very fragrant herb with soft oval leaves and square stems. It grows from 2 to 3 feet in height and provides an unusual odor that is nonetheless characteristic of patchouli when the leaves are rubbed. It became very popular throughout the British Empire when silks and cashmere shawls from India were packed with Patchouli to discourage insects during shipping, the scent being the final proof of origin. Genuine India Ink was also scented with it. Patchouli improves with age, and the aged oil is what is preferred over that which is freshly harvested. In aromatherapy and perfumery.
